The Last Year Plus...

Well this poor blog has been severly neglected. I (Laura) will try to catch everyone up as best I can on our happenings since the last time we updated.

Febuary 2009- My sister Alicia got married. Halen loves his new dad Brian and his new step sister Lily Grace (Gracie) who is 3 months older than Ella. Brian is in the air force and was expecting to be stationed in Germany but his orders were cancceled so for now they are staying right here in Oklahoma.

April 2009- My brother Christopher got married. He and his wife Kelsi got married in Texas where she grew up. She has a little boy Aiden who has lots of energy and seems to always have a smile on his face. He is 6 months older than Ella.

May 2009- My mom FINALLY got her associates. We all went to her graduation with all the kids to cheer her on. It was very exciting. She was accepted to the University of Centeral Oklahoma where she is working towards a bachelors in Special Education.

August 2009- Ella celebrated her 2nd birthday.

November 2009- Christopher and Kelsi had a baby boy. They named him Kyler and he is a very happy baby.

December 2009- My grandmother was admited to the hospital to have surgery on her kidney which was later cancelled because it turned out to be cancer. For Christmas we had a blizzard which made us house bound and prevented Christopher, Kelsi, Aiden, and Kyler from coming to Oklahoma for Christmas.

January 2010- My grandmother died due to her advanced cancer. We were able to get all of eight of her grandchildren to bedside before she passed which was amazing seeing as we spaned from California to Italy.

April 2010- Alicia and Brian had a baby boy. His name is Rylan and he is very smiley.

May 2010- Thomas and I got divorced. Ella and I packed up and moved to Clovis, California because Thomas wanted to live closer to his family.

July 2010- Ella and I traveled to Utah for the blessing of Ella's newest cousin's blessing. We had a lot of fun getting to know Thomas's family better. We also traveled to Reno, NV to visit a friend of mine and his wife before they moved to Kentucky. We had a blast hanging out and even taking a trip to Lake Tahoe.

August 2010- Ella celebrated her 3rd birthday. Ella and I packed back up and moved back to Oklahoma because Thomas decided he wanted to stay in Oklahoma due to the economy. I started school again. Hopefully this time I will continue until I finish.

September 2010- Ella started a Ballet and Tap Dance class. She loves going every week. She comes home and can't wait to show us what she learned.

Wow what a shocker!!! Don't die of shock i wouldn't want that for any of you guys. Yes I am finally updating our Blog. There are so many things that have happened since christmas until now. I don't think that I will have enough time to put it all together before I have to be to class.

First Laura's Brother and Sister are both getting married. Laura's Brother Chris is getting married in July and moving to Texas I believe next month. Laura's Sister Alicia is getting married either this month before her fiancee gets deployed. Or they are going to be waiting for six months when he comes back to get married. Then her and Halen are going to be moving to Germany. Talk about crazy.

Second School for me has been out for two weeks because of bad weather. Fun this has been. So this is my offical first day of school. Lets see how it goes.

I will tell you more about us as soon as I can.

Our Very Own NBA Team

So Last night I went to our First ever Pre-season NBA Home game. It was quite the thrill to see Professional Basketball players up close. In fact I was just about on the floor with the seats that I got. The only reason why I got this ticket was that our bosses bought 9 tickets. 4-2 ticktes and a single ticket. This is from the bank. I happen to have won the single ticket but i tried to get another one so that Laura could go with me. Our team's name is Oklahoma City Thunder. It is a little odd but it is catching on. We only lost by 2 points. The final score was 90-88. We played the L.A Clippers. The game was very good it wasn't until after half time that the crowd started to get into the game. Yes even me... Although most people were drinking I was not. It was, needless to say, a very good game. I hope that i will be able to win more tickets to be able to go to more home games.

Just to let you know I had to leave my MacroEconomics class in order to go. I got my test that I took last week and I scored an 88% on it. It is better than the 56% that I scored on my first test. My accounting class I have an A the other two classes I am unsure about. Other than that things are going good.

We have moved into an apartment that is closer to the college that I am going to. Her parents have moved upstairs so that they can finish the downstairs to get the house ready to sell. So the little house that we were living in they are going to be moving into with Halen.

Laura and ella are doing good. Ella is walking all over the place. We have to keep a close eye on her or she goes into the kitchen and get everything out of the cupboards. Laura is doing good in her new calling. Her calling is in the YW with the Behives, she is gone for Mutual so i get the house for a little bit. So far she is liking her calling.

Well school has started once again. I am going to school Mon, Tues, Wed, and Thrus. I have had my first test already under my belt. It was on my accounting class which is on Wed. I scored a 97% on it. Regardless I am very excited. In two weeks we have another test and I want to score good on that so a bunch of us is going to get together next week and study.

My Monday class is Intro to Banking. Tuesday is MacroEconomics. Wednesday is Accounting 1. Thursday is Personal Finance. Yes I am still working at Chilis and we now have discount cards. To where we can go to any Chilis and and resturant owned by Brinker like On the Border and get a discount. We also get a 16% discount on our phones too.

We started looking at apartments to move into. As her parents are going to be selling the house here. The big house. They are trying to get it fixed up and then probably going to sell it around spring time. So we are looking at houses close to Oklahoma City Community College, or the downtown area. We went out looking yesterday at a couple of them and found ones that were really nice. It is right by the college and they are pretty nice on the outside and on the Inside. They lady said that they are going to be having a downstairs 2 bedroom 2 bath with a fireplace opening up the first of October. We will be taking pictures of the place when we get in there. Needless to say this is a good step in the right direction. We have been with her parents for a while now and we need to get out on our own.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Hey Family,

Sorry that it has been a while since we have posted anything on our Blog. Things were kinda a whirlwind since summer started. I started going to chilis Tues-Friday and Mondays were busy with other things. Saturday's we were busy with the house, and then sunday was church. Now that school has started things are even tighter. School Mon-Thurs, Chilis Firday night and Saturday morning, Date night Saturday night, and then there is church.

Ella's birthday was fun we had 2 cakes for her. One Laura made and the other we got at Wal mart. Had a fun family gathering on her birthday and then on Saturday had a party for her with people from the ward. She got a lot of presents. Everyone there had a blast. A day before her birthday we did pictures of Ella and we got our family pictures also this time. Don't worry you will all be able to see them. We are trying to get them loaded onto our computer and then onto our Blog.

If you haven't heard I beleive that I have changed my major. I am thinking of going into Finance. I'm thinking of becoming a Financial Advisor, but if i do good in Accounting this semester I will try and stick with it. my classes this year are Acct1, macroeconomics, intro to banking, and personal Finance.

have to go. Need to study for a test in Macro Economics. I get my first test from Accouting 1 back tomorrow. More to come.

One day I had gotten home from work early and was playing with Ella when Laura had a good idea for Halen to do as we watch him in the mornings. We decided to paint pictures. Don't worry they were not toxic and were ok to play with. we cut a piece of paper for ella to do some paintings and well....you have to see the pictures. These pictures are worth a thousand words. Hope you enjoy them. Ella had a fun time doing it. As you can tell she got paint everywhere.

I know that it is hard to see, but a while back Laura went with Halen, her brother, mom and Ella to White water Bay. This was Ella's first water day and from what I heard she had a blast. She even fell asleep in her tube a little before they were about to leave. To say the least I wasn't able to go but I might be going soon. I hope that All your pool parties are going to be fun and hope everything is a blast.

Well as you can tell I had a little fun with the remolding. They wanted me to scrape off all of the popcorn stuff on the ceiling. Lets just say that If i didn't have the goggles on my eyes I probably wouldn't have been able to see. After going through all that Laura decides to crack a joke. Saying " Hey maybe for Halloween you can be a ghost. I mean i know how to make you all white now."

So Looking at everyone's blog I have noticed that we are the last ones to update it. Well you will be surprised at how busy we have been. I've hardly had the time to breathe it seems like, for i am working hard at both jobs. What has happened since we have done the last blog... Well for starters Memorial day I had off from both jobs and we went to the zoo. Second I have been helping remodel the upstairs bathroom. Third Ella and Laura went to White Water. Forth We found a little gardener snake. Fifth Ella did a little painting, and last but not least we went Camping.

So as you can tell a lot has gone on since May 7, the last post. This will catch you guys up to speed on what has been happening here in our little neck of the woods. Also during this whole time I have been working more at Chili's and am going to be putting in an application in to be a Personal Banker at the downtown location. The reason behind it is that Our Personal Banker at our location is going to be going to school full time and only working Part time as a teller. One of our other tellers that we have is going to be quiting on August 15. So it works out in the end. All that we need is a full time PB and I am going to talk to my manager about it.

So the days that I have been working at chili's is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and also Saturday mornings at 8 in the morning. So besides getting more shifts at chili's more money for us, If they would seat me, and if they would quit giving me Q.A (Quality Analysis, making sure correct food goes out to the correct table) and Host Shifts. Other than that things are good. Ohh the ones on Saturday are for New Hire Orientation.

First trip to the zoo!!!

This weekend that we went to the zoo was the first actual 3 day weekend that I have had in a long time. So we decided to go to the Zoo. We were planning on being there only a couple of hours but we were there for like 4 hours. As you can tell Ella had a good time at the zoo. It was hot when we went so a lot of the animals like this Gorilla were in the shade just taking a rest. Things were going good. Funny little story about the zoo. We went into this area for all of the marine life. We walked down into this area and were walking around when out of the blue this voice rings out and says "The picture that you have does not do her justice." I looked around and notice a couple . The wife said the same thing again, then she added "you don't remember us do you?" I looked at her and then the baby, then at her again , and then I looked at her husband. That is when it hit me. I showed them a picture of Ella while I served them at Chili's a few weeks past. Talk about weird.

So as Laura has said I got a pay raise. We are all very excited about it. While I was in the drive thru last month my branch manager came in to do our quarterly review. He ranked me an even 2 all they way across. It is good for me. I am working hard at it and am getting a lot of referalls. In the drive thru alone I got 2 credit cards, and also 5 Home Equity Line of Credit. All of these were just warm referalls and hoping that they go through. It is 10 points per credit card and 10 points for each HELOC. I also believe that i get a dollar per point. That is the best in the drive thru, and I have two more coming when I get back to the drive thru. My pay raise to let you know is $0.18.

As you can or can not tell by the picture Ella now has 4 bottom teeth. Yup that is right 4 bottom teeth and she wasn't cranky at all. Well this morning after she woke up from her nap we noticed that there was a cut on her thumb. So we put a bandaid on it and that is what the second picture is of. The third one is just a funny picture that we took. Well hope you guys like them.

Ella is still cutting teeth. It takes like a month for them to come in. Thankfully it doesn't really bother her because there are 4 coming in at the same time. We are busy packing our stuff back up to move into my parents house. The real reason we are making this move is because no one wants to deal with my sister. She is not taking responsibility for her son and we can see how it is affecting Halen. She will be leaving Halen with us for a month until she "settles in" to the house...so we will wait and see. She was engaged but broke it off a few weeks ago and is now in a new relationship which means a lot of her being gone until the wee hours of the morning. We will have the whole upstairs of the house so we are thinking this move maybe a good one for at least now. Also Ella says MOMMA and occasionally DADDA and loves eat whatever she can get heer mouth around including the metal legs of the chairs. She is really getting good at moving around. The other day she scooted her exersaucer across the floor.

Ella had her 6 month checkup with her new Primary Doctor. She weighs 14lbs 10oz and is 25 1/2 inches long. She is now in the 25%. Yeah!! On the down side she is starting to get an ear infection in both ears so she is taking an antibiotic. This doctor was the best and even her staff were awesome. She sat down at my level and looked directly at me to answer all my questions. She didn't mess with paperwork or examine Ella while answering which always annoys me because i feel like all they are trying to do is rush me out the door. She also answered my stupid questions without making me feel stupid. It was great. For the first time since Ella has been born I have left the doctors feeling like a good mom!

Allergy Testing

On Wednesday Halen had to have allergy testing. He has been getting the croup at least once a month since November and his doctor was pretty sure it was due to allergies. We weren't too worried because my Sister had allergy testing when she was a kid and they just did a scratch test on her back. Well we were wrong they did the scratch test on his back but then some had to be injected under the skin. Not one but 24 shots . Of course he screamed and was completely exhausted by the end. The doctor gave him coupons to a place called Incredible Pizza which is an All You Can Eat pizza, salad, and dessert place and then they have arcade games and go karts. We went there for dinner that night and had a blast! Thomas took Halen on the Go Karts and they got first place. Halen got a ribbon which he is very proud of. Thomas really made his day!

New Baby

Before any of you freak out NO Thomas and I are not having a new baby. Ella is like a whole new baby. For the first time since she has been on formula she does not have a runny nose. The reason she has had the chronic problem is that she is allergic to milk protein. So she was put on a soy formula. Well she is sensitive to that also. So she is now on a Hypoallergenic Formula. Thank goodness for WIC because it is $30 for a 16oz can. She is happier, even more alert which i didn't think possible, and more talkative. This is all great for her but not so much for me cause I am always exhausted . I am trying to pump more so that she can get more milk but I seem to have issues with the pump. So we will just have to see.

Well here is everything that is going on in our neck of the woods/with our little family

1: Ella is now 6 months old and growing out of everything. She is getting too big for all of her cute clothes that she has so we went and bought her new clothes.
2: Ella's room is almost done. Just one more coat of paint.
3: Laura is always happy when Thomas gets home.
4: Thomas only has to go to school on Mondays and not the rest of the week.
5: Thomas will eventually be going bald for all the hair that Ella is lovingly pulling out.
6: Laura is going crazy because of the messy house.
7: Thomas is going to be selling his Honda as soon as the door gets fixed.
8 Pictures will come when Ella's room is done.
9: Ella is crawling all over Daddy.
10: Ella now has 2 teeth and eats 2 jars of baby food a day.(recommended by the doctor)
11: Thomas wrote an essay for school that was really good. He got a good grade on it.

Rant

I am getting so frustrated with Doctors! We got new insurance so we had to find a new Doctor. Ella went to see one we were thinking of being her primary because she has been having coughing fits. That was all it was supposed to be instead they turned it in to a Wellness visit. They even asked if i wanted them to do a wellness visit and I said no. Anyways, they started up the whole thing of "she doesn't weigh enough"weighs 12lbs9oz length 25ins.... "we should be worried about her brain function"...."you don't feed her enough"....etc. they asked how much she eats and how often well she takes in about 4-5oz of formula every two hours when awake and eats 2 jars baby food a day. They said that I need to feed her 7-8ozs every three hours and to wake her up at night for feedings also. The problem is that when I try to give her more than 5oz she will not take it or she trows up. We have done the adding cereal to the formula...we have done high calorie formula and it doesn't make a difference. AHHH!!! In the last 7 months there has been 11 babies born in our ward. Ella is the healthiest. She is alert, she talks (babbles and will says mama), she has two teeth, she reaches for toys and looks for them when they fall, she observes everything around her, and loves studying faces. If this is what an unhealthy malnourished baby is then we have a lot of 20lb 6month olds who are "malnourished" I mean i am wrong? Am I malnourishing my child? Should I be worried? They just make me feel like a horrible mother when they start down my throat like this.

Ella's First Tooth

Hello Family,

Last Night was an eventful night. Ella was teething. She started fussing and since it was a new thing For Laura and I, we called people who had been through it before. We tried everything of course. Teething tablets, teething toys, her green little fish and her pacifier. Nothing worked at all. So I called Celeste, and took her advice. We gave her a double dose of tylenol and put baby orajel on her gums. Later on we fed her and then I put her down to sleep. She slept until 5:30 this morning when I was supposed to wake up. i finally got out of bed about quater til 6 and got her out of her cradel and went to Laura. Got dressed and then went to work.

School also started this week. I have 3 online courses and one that I am taking at school. More on that later. Right now have to go. Have to get Ella to bed.

P.S. We are finally getting Ella's Room done.

Ella's First Christmas

Hello Everyone,

I know that this is a late Merry Christmas but here it is. Just wanted to write and let you know how things went. As you can tell the Ella is just like Candy when she was younger. Loving those candy canes. Good thing that one isn't real. Well for christmas morning we we got to her moms house at 8 in the morning. We started with Santa presents for the little kids and stockings for everyone else. The little kids presents towered everyone elses. Ella's Santa's presents came up to the top lock on their back door. She got an excersauser, a TJ berrytale bear, others which I can not remember. But there are many things that happened. I got a printer and the little people nativity scene also Harry Potter 5 and Pirates and the Carribean 3. Laura got a foot massager, a jewlery case and a gift certificate from kohls from her sister. So over all the people that got the most gifts were halen and Ella.

As of latley all of them have fallen down. This is our first nativity scene. It is little people Nativity the full set. Halen loves playing with them.

So this the the disaster that happened after the Ice Storm that hit OKlahoma last week.The picture to the left is our Neighbors house whose drive way is still blocked because of the branches that fell due to the weight of the ice. The right is a sign covered in ice.
bottom right is our tree that was coved in Ice. Two branches broke off of the tree and almost hit our house. These pictures are of the branches been held up with the roof. The one to the left of it is a picture of Laura's partents house.

The Ice Storm

Crunch, crunch crunch. What is that noise that you ask? Well that is the sound of Ice on the side of our house as some one is walking by. We just had our first bad ice storm of the season. Temperatures droped to the what felt like negitive digits. More than 600,000 people were out of power. Inculding the in-laws. Most were out when the storm hit others were out from monday or tuesday. Most of the electricty is turned on but there is about 90,000 people who still don't have power. Laura's parents were out of lights for 2 days at the most. Some schools have been out for the whole week. others just for a few days. There was one school in a small town that burned down(only 70% burned). The power was out and they said that it was an electrical fire. Then on friday to saturday we got hit by another storm. This storm brought us snow and the cold again. Now that the storm has passed all the ice and snow have melted but there is devastation all over the state of Oklahoma. We have been put in as a State of Disaster since the whole storm hit.

Well things are slowly getting back to normal after our trip durning the Thanksgiving Holiday. I know that this is a little slow in coming since everyone has put up a blog except for us. Here is what has happened since we parted from Celestes' house.

1 We drove by my old work place in Lindon to see an old co-worker of mine. She came down and we visited her for a little bit. After that we were leaving and we decided to see if my old car was still there. Sure enough it was. With a closer look we found out that my license plates were still on the car. Needless to say we had to go to the DMV to get a new title for laura's car. As long as we were there we asked them about the car that I sold. Sure enough he had reregistered the car in my name. So we requested a dupilcate title for that car and I now have it. Along with that we cancelled the registration. Then they told us that we should take off the license plates. So we went to Jed and Leona's place and got a screwdriver. While we were there jed suggested that we get an officer of the peace to be there just in case he came out. So we get there and the cop gets there and we explain what is going on and of course he checked out the license plates to make sure it was under my name. They were and he said to take it off. So we did. When we did that we also left him a note saying that he had one month to pay us the money or we were taking him to small claims court or we just might take the car back since it is still in my name.

2 I started my new job the week or so when we got back. I now have been there two weeks and I love it. Currently I am hired as a part time employee but i am going to be working full time. So after I am all done training I am goining to be full time. I am working in the drive thru where there isn't that many people to talk to and I am going to be there 7:15 until 3:15 or 4:15 depending wether or not I take a Lunch. Working in a bank you have to make sure that everything equals out. Well the last two days that I have been either short or over that ammount that I am supposed to have on hand. The first day i was there I was 1.75 short at the close of day. Then right before I left i did a trial close and found out that I was 2.00 over. so techniquly i was .25 over. Then the next day I was 155.00 over at close of day and then at the trial i was 30.70 under. I don't know what is going on. I am doing everything that I am supposed to do.

Halloween

Hello Family

Well Halloween was fun. On the 3oth around midnite we were able to carve Ella's pumpkin. Well for Halloween Ella was a Pumpkin. Then during the day of Halloween Laura and Halen carved a white pumpkin that Laura's parents gave us. So we had two pumpkins for Halloween. Mind you she was the cutest pumkin as Laura says. Of course that was the only costume that would fit her for her size. Well for Trick-or-Treat we went to the church's Trunk-or-Treat and she fell asleep. Then one of the schools here did trick or treat and once again she fell asleep. Then on Halloween night we went trick or treating she fell asleep once again. So instead of a pumpkin she was a snoring pumpkin/sleeping pumpkin. Well we didn't do too well at recieving candy. Not a lot of houses by Laura's parents had their lights on for passing out candy. Of course all the people who were passing out candy ohh and ahhh at ella and said that she was so cute. Thomas and Laura didn't really dress up for Halloween this year.

The reason for the fish picture was that the other night ella would not calm down and we tried everything until Alicia brought a fish for her to chew on. The reason for the fish is because we were trying to find things that will fit her mouth and the only thing that would was the green fish.

Well since i hav some time before i have to be in math tonight I decided that i should get a blog done. Here is what has happened so far. Oklahoma has beaten its rainfall record for the year and yet we still have a few months left to go. I beat laura's mom on a test. I missed one question that should have been easy to remember but i didn't. I got 99% and Laura's mom got 91%. I was really excited about that. I have a 85% in that class. I am trying to get it up to an A. I have had an Interview for a banking position. The same bank that Laura's sister is employeed. It is going to be about 20 hrs a week and $9.00 an hr. The postion that it is, is less than 20 hrs. The branch manager that interviewed me said that this was the most informal interview that i will ever have. I am supposed to hear back soon on it. It looks promsing. He said that he takes recomindations from other employees very high. Since Laura's Sister works for the same bank she told him about me. Once I get into it I can easily get into other banks as my referrals get up which he said that he will mentor me and show me how to do it. I will not be able to get full time at the place where i might be working at, but i can apply for other full time postions within the business and other banks.
Well I have to get to class so I will talk to you guys later.

Hello family. I hope that everything is going ok? As for our little family things are going great. Well sort of. Work is still cutting me on hours. This last week I got 35 hours. I have had a job interview and it looks promising. Only problem with that is, it is less than 20 hrs. Atleast I will have a foot in the door for banking, possibly. We have moved into the house and so far we have the living room and the kitchen cleaned. Next room to tackle is the bedroom. Once we get that done we will post pictures on our blog.
Speaking of pictures I have put three new ones up. One of them is of ella sleeping, another one is of ella and I sleeping and the last one is of Ella smiling that we have been trying to get a picture of. More of her will be coming...
Ella had her 2 month shots on Monday. They weighed her at that time she now weighs 8lbs 12 oz(fully clothed). She is also 22 inches long. So we have a baby girl that is long and skinny. after me of course. She sleeps at times the whole night without waking up and other times she wakes up at 1:30 and will not go back to sleep unless she is laying on daddy's chest. She also likes to stick her face into my chest, she gets to hear my heatbeat a lot better because of my crater that I have there.
Laura is doing fine. Still watching Halen. She does that to help out the best that she can. Hopfully she will go back to school next semester. We are going to try to take some courses together so that we can help each other out.
As for me things are going al right. Wish things could be better, but it is going alright. Like I said earlier work is going all right, nothing too fancy there. So here I am in a little delima. I will work through it. School is going ok. I got my first "A" on a test. I was still 1% behind Laura's mom. This next test that we took last week I am hoping that I am going beat her.
Well got to be going. Laura's mom needs to do homework.

Well here I am already out of English, and not knowing what to do. All that we did today was turn in our essay, read a letter out of our book and then left. I have been out of class since 6 pm tonight. As you can tell I figured out some information on the blog and now I can do some things. Just to let you know about what is going on with us here is the low down on our little family in Oklahoma. We hope to move into our house this weekend. We we have to. Later on that.

First things first. Ella is now 6 weeks old and only wakes up once a night(Usually about 12:30 or 1). Then she wakes up inbetween 5-7 usually for the rest of day. She hasn't been sleeping much durning the day because cousin Halen is always doing something. Her appointment that she had Yesterday told us some new information. She now weighs in at 7lbs 10oz. She is 21-21 3/4 inches long. Since her last appointment she has gained 10oz. Dang those Gentry Genes. The state nurse(Since we are on WIC) that we went is a little afraid that she isn't gaining enough. We keep telling her to look at Dad. We had a little scare from her a little while ago. We had to take her to the Emergencey room and they took an X-ray of her. From what they saw nothing happened, but a closer look they found out that her heart was shaped as a boot. So we had to do a cardio gram on her to see if there were going to be any complications later on. The doctor said that everything checks out OK.

Laura is doing really well. Keeps up with babysitting her Nephew, and watching Ella. She watches Halen Monday-Friday while Alicia is at work and so is everybody else. She is always happy to do the work to help everybody else out. She will be happy once the house is ready to go so that we can finally put Ella on a routine. It seems that she also wants to put me on as well.

As for me well things are going ok. Work still isn't giving me the hours that need every week in order to pay the bills. I have now applied for so many jobs it s amazing that I don't have a new one right now. The ones that I have applied for is what I have done previously and one is with banks.Just waiting to hear back from them. For some reason every month we manage to do just that. Pay all of our bills. It is all due to Paying Thithing. It is a marvelous thing. School is going ok. So far I have had at least one test in all my classes except for English. As you can tell we are hardly in class to learn anything. Every Tuesday I am in Biology with Laura's Parents and so far so good. On all the test that We have taken in there(which is 3) her mom as pulled A's. On this next test lets see how she does. My other classes are going good also. I am working hard to learn everything that I need to know. Somthings are harder for me than others but it is really an eye opener. Once you have to pay for your own schooling you work twice as hard to get good grades. Only wish I could have done it earlier.
Now about the house. Sorry no pictures this time. Hoped you like what the rooms looked like before we painted over them. Now the rooms look so much better. The living room is in pale green color to make it look biger. The master bedroom that was Pink and Black with Zebra print carpet is a pale blue color. The baby's room is going to have a blue with sparkles in it to refelect the light. We are doing a Faries theme in her room, and by chance Ella means beautiful farie. That we didn't plan for until we saw her. Her room is going to have a Tinker Bell Light, with a Tinkerbell picture ont he wall and little faries around the room. There is no more carpet in the house only wood floors which are being put down as we speak. We are going to have to move into it this weekend as we have to out of our apartment complex by October 1st. So we are working hard between school and work to get it all taken care of. The House

Hello Everyone,

Well I told you that I would give you more about the house later. It is offical Laura's Parents got the house and are starting to do some(ok a lot of) fixups on it. This past weekend we (meaning Mom, Dad Gentry and I) started painting over what was in the original rooms. The rooms beginning were pink. The baby's room was pink with yellow trim, the master bedroom was Pink, with black trim. The master bedroom's carpet was zebra print. Needless to say that was the first thing to go. Right now all that we have done is torne up the carpet in the master bedroom and the living room. Also we started painting over the hideous colors and they are now white.
We have a theme for the babies room. It has to do with faries mainly Tinker Bell from Petter Pan. We have a fan, pictures and we are going to be painting the bedroom a blue with glitter in the paint. The living room is going be a light green and our main bedroom is going to be a light blue.

Ella's Blessing

Hello all,
Today was Ella's Baby Blessing. Grandpa Gentry was the one to bless her. There is a picture of her in her blessing gown on the left hand side. Grandma Inge was of course the one that made the blessing dress. It was a beautiful dress that was made. We stayed for the whole church block. We also had a luncheon afterwards. It was a very nice day. We also went to the Okalahoma City Memorial Center for a little walk this afternoon.

Hello Family,
So we decided to start a website of our own. This way you guys can see pictures of how we are and how we are doing, and ofcourse of our little baby girl Ella. Here is a little update on what is happening to us way in Oklahoma. School has started and is in full swing. I am currently enrolled in 13 Credits at OCCC (Oklahoma City Community College). The classes that I am in are Government, English, College Algebra and Biology. On Tuesdays I am in class with Laura's parents so we car pool. On Wednesdays and Thursdays I carpool with her dad and usually I get out before he does so I am at the Library doing homework until he is done.
Laura is working. She is watching her Nephew Halen everyday. He is loads of fun!!!! Especially now that he is 2 1/2. So Laura has her hands full everyday. He runs around and always wants to have all the attention on him. It is taking him awhile to understand that there is another baby in the house. He is slowly coming getting to realize that there is another baby in the house.
We also have an announcement; this is a very big announcement. Both Laura and I are very happy about this. Her mom part ownes a building in California and the main person has decided to sell the building. With that sale going on she has decided to put the money into something that will get money out of. She has decided to buy a house. This house will be fore Laura and I and also Ella. We should find out soon if they took the offer that they put down. Now also her Nana (Grandma) has decided to help us out. She says that it isn't very healthy to stay at our Apartment that we are renting. I will tell you guys more about that house when we get it.
I guess for now I will give you guys this. Will do another about Ella when I get home tonight.
